The Autocrats (formerly The Funky Autocrats) was founded by trumpeter Eric Bloom (Lettuce) to bring Funk and R&B to the people in the New England area and abroad. The group features a number of talented musicians who have played and toured with some of the music industry's best talent.

The Autocrats insist on manufacturing funk of the highest quality. The group's unique brand of horn-driven funk and deep pockets are a favorite of the young and grown alike.  The group's current powerhouse lineup features two vocalists, a three piece horn section, keys, guitar, bass, percussion and drums.
